Aleo Prover Node

Aleo operates as a privacy-centric layer 1 blockchain, crafted with the principle of zero-knowledge at its core. It employs a decentralized operating system : snarkOS for zero-knowledge applications, forming the foundation of the Aleo network. This infrastructure guarantees the verification of transactions and securely stores the encrypted state of applications in a publicly verifiable manner.

The Aleo prover node plays a crucial role in synchronizing block information. Moreover, it is tasked with two key responsibilities:

  1. Calculate and generate proof information.
  2. Broadcast supporting information.

The requirements are extensive, necessitating a 32-core CPU and 32GB RAM memory, which makes this node uncommonly operated. Aleo is currently on testnet3 (testnet phase 3).

By deploying an Aleo prover node, you'll gain access to a snarkOS wallet, which you can view in your Nodeshark dashboard.
